Journey to Kyoshi Island

I smile at Toph and Zuko. So it's decided, then? I grab everything I can and I climb up Appa. I pat his head and say, Hope you're rested up, boy. We have a long journey ahead of us.

Suki sighed. "Well i'm really gonna miss you guys.." she trailed off sadly, but secretly joking. Then she started laughing. "Last one on Appa is a rotten lechee nut!"

Sokka ran to Appa as Suki said that. I guess you're a rotten lechee nut then Suki! Sokka kept his cheerful adventure face on even though he was very worried about what could happen.

Suki laughed but then ran up behind him, jumped, and landed her hand on his shoulder and blocked his chi. Using that momentum, she did a flip and and landed on Appa. "Correction, I am the greatest lechee nut." she said smiling in victory.

Sokka fell to the ground. Haven't i suffered enough of this? He smiled as he saw Momo next to Suki. Momo take her fans and fly into the woods! Momo sat quietly next to her. Ugh. Please Momo. Momo grabbed the fans and jumped off of Appa.

I laugh as Suki hops up next to me on Appa. Nice going, Suki! I jump to the ground and try to help Sokka up. Really, Sokka? You are so mature. I say sarcastically. I lift him up as high as I can and yell, Hey Suki, could you please grab him for me? He's too heavy for me to lift him up all the way. I look into this eyes and whisper, You should really work out more, you know.

Sokka smiles and says Yes i am that imature. He tries to get up. Is it to much to ask that she not go all Kyoshi Warrior on me everytime we have a little competition?

"A bit too much." she joked and ran off to get Momo who was flying away with her fans. She climbed up a tree, leapt from a branch and grabbed her fans from his feet. She walked back over and hopped back on Appa. "Here Sokka, let me reopen the chi path."

Momo flew back to Appa and layed down. Sokka was a little annoyed with Suki for using that techinque. Well whatever lets just go help Aang.

Suki reopened his chi path and helped him back up on Appa. "Sorry." she said when they were up on Appa. "It's just a new move I've been wanting to try."

Sokka smiles and gets ready for lift. Let go Appa! He points into the sky forgeting that Appa needs to hear the words "yipyip" to know when to fly.

Suki laughed. "Or you could try 'yip yip'." And with that Appa took off into the sky. "So which way do we even go?" she asked, looking out into the open sky.

Sokka looks around and says I thought one of you knew the way. He couldn't believe that no one knew the way to Ember Island espescially since Zuko had a house on the island.

I roll my eyes and push Sokka off of Appa's reins. I take control and steer him to the left. Since I guess my genius brother isn't the best at directions, I say very sarcastically, but still smiling to let him know it was just a joke. I could try to help you out. I steer Appa to the left. We need to head west to get to Ember Island. We passed o the way here, right?

Sokka looks over at Katara and smirks. You know we were already flying west. He says Sarcastically. So if you just turned left that means we're heading south. He looks over the side. See look i had Appa fly down low and make a mark on that rock.

I look down and see that he was right. Yeah. I-I knew that. I was just... making sure you were paying attention. I say, trying to make it look like it was true. I lean back and sigh, trying not to look so embarrassed that my brother really was right. I sit next to Toph and lean on her shoulder, tired.

Sokka smiles in victory and takes over leading Appa back on course. So Katara anything else you'd like to try and use to make me look dumb. He says sarcastically. Or are you afraid that i prove you wrong again?

I roll my eyes and ignore him. I slowly close my eyes, completely worn out from not resting enough since we left Gaoling. I take the weight off of Toph's shoulder and lean back on Appa's saddle. I yawn loudly and openly as I slowly drift off into a deep, dreamless sleep.

Sokka looked at Katara and left Appa to keep flying in the set direcion. Suki keep an eye on Appa please. He moved over to Katara and covered her with a blanket. Sleep tight sis.

Suki took the reigns and sat on Appa's head. "Wow, I've never actually done this!" she said, looking down at the arrow she sat on.

Sokka hopped off the saddle and landed next to Suki. He sat down and watched her. All you have to do is pull it slightly the side you want him to go and he'll go. Sokka thought for a minute and said Please don't make him turn. We're already right on track. He smiled and shut up quick.

Suki smirked and said, "Turning isn't really what I had in mind.." A few seconds later, suki was laughing her head off as they shot straight up into the air and then took a huge drop right for the ground. Sokka was screaming beside her, and she laughed even harder.

Sokka yelled and tried to take control of Appa. Give me the reins! He said still scared at what Suki was doing. Are you even thinking of the bad things that could happen!? He was scared and mad. What if someone falls off or worse!? He calmed down a little and said I know i'm acting like a kill joy, but i'm just worried about everyone.

As we begin to drop, I suddenly wake up and scream in terror. Sokka! What did you do now? I yell, glaring at him holding the reins.

Sokka looks back and tries to yell over to her back as he tries to steady Appa and pull up. It wasn't me it was Suki! He couldn't believe she would just blame him like that. See how you just assume it's my fault! As Appa began to fly steadily again Sokka got alittle mad again at Suki and a little at Katara. What were you thinking Suki!? And why would you just blame me Katara!?
