Journey to Kyoshi Island

Suki frowned. "I was just having some fun Sokka. I thought you of all people would be up for that. Since when did you stop loving funny nonsense?"

Sokka looks Suki in the eyes and says When my friends lives are in danger i don't care about fun. He looks over at Katara, Toph and Zuko. What if someone had fallen off and gotten hurt or killed? He begins to bring Appa down for a landing and turns back to Suki. Now i should probably check if all our stuff is still onboard. He looks back at everyone and says Are you all ok?

"Of course they're fine they're all master benders for crying out loud." she said exasperated. I'm the only one who's not.

Sokka looks back at Suki. Well in case you forgot in the air Toph can't see very well. Also Katara was sleeping so she could have easily fallen off. He looks at Zuko then back at Suki. Zuko i'm not to worried about because he tends to be ready for anything, but still. He looks into her eyes and says What if you lost your grip on the reins and fell. I would have been completely destroyed.

I roll my eyes and sigh at Sokka. First of all, Sokka, I automatically blamed you because it isusually your fault. Secondly, I know you're worried about Aang, but chill. I think about what I just said and blink in surprisement. Okay, you know it's bad when I'm telling you to relax. We have enough strength between the five of us to figure something out. I get up and sit next to Suki. I wouldn't worry too much about him, Suki. He's just stressed out because he thinks he always has to be in charge of everything. I smile over at him.

Suki nodded, still feeling guilty and a bit sick to her stomach.

Sokka pats Appa on the head as they land. I'm sorry Suki. I'm just really stressed out. He moves over to where everyones stuff is. It looks like everything is hear. He sits down and looks over at Suki. Why don't you fly us the rest of the way. Just give a little warning if you're gonna do something crazy.

"No, Katara should probably do it." she said resting her chin on her knees after she had handed the reigns to her.

Sokka moved next to Suki. Come on Suki you have to fly Appa. Sokka patted Appa's head twice and he layed down. See he won't move if you're not in control. He smile and tossed a treat in front of Appa trying to be discreet. So, what do you say?

"It's okay, Katara can do it." she said giving her the reigns and walking back to the main saddle.

Sokka sat back and yelled out Yip Yip! He sat next to Suki as Appa took off. He yawned and put his arm around her. You want to talk Suki?

I put my arm on her shoulder and tell Suki, Seriously, go ahead, Suki. You will be completely fine. Nothing's gonna happen. I I look a bit more solemn as I move back to Toph so that they can talk on the way, I circle by Sokka and whisper, But whatever we do, we have to hurry. Azula could have gone insane again and hurt or even ki- I shutter at the thought. I turn back and lean again on Toph.

Sokka closed his eyes and grabs the reigns. He becomes more determined as yells out to Appa. Come on Appa! Yip Yip! He tries to rush Appa as quickly as possible. Suki you and i are gonna have a little flying lesson later. I won't take no for an answer. He smiles as Appa flies faster and faster.

I close my eyes as I imagine what Aang could be doing right now. Spirits, please let Aang be alright. The world needs him now. I pet Appa's back and try to think of any ways to get to him faster. Could he be at Ember Island already? Can we still catch up with him? Then a single image comes into my head: Azula. The image of her trying to kill us before, ravenous for Aang's death. No. I will not let her win. Never.

Appa feels Katara's hand and begin to fly faster. He lets out his usual roar as his speed begins to increase greatly. Sokka hold the reigns tightly and yells out to everyone. Who threw in the extra YIP to make him go this fast?!

Suki shook the ordeal off, but it still lingered in the back of her mind. But right now she had to focus on getting Aang. "I'm in." she said with a determined face, looking at Sokka.

Sokka smiled at Suki and tried to make Appa move even faster. Come on Appa! Yip Yip! Sokka kept repeating this and Appa continued to pick up speed letting out his usual roar.

I calm down a little bit and let out a smile. That's good, Suki. Now when we're all sleeping, you can stay up and fly Appa. I say, smirking. I try to mask the rest of my fear behind the smirk. I pet Appa again as I drift off to sleep again, hoping that the next time I woke up would be at Ember Island.

Sokka looks back. Suki can you check the map for me? I think we're close to the island. I smile as Appa continues to move quickly.

"Sure." Suki said reaching back for the map. She held it out and quickly figured out where they were. "Were about 20 minutes from the island." she said looking back up.

Sokka smiles and says We should be there soon then. He looks ahead and continues to keep a straight course.

(OOC: We started going to Ember Island to help Aang when he left the note that said he was going to talk to Azula.)
